Grady Raines

I’m joining the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University as an Assistant Professor in the Management & Entrepreneurship department. I hold a Ph.D. in Management and Organizations from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.

I study entrepreneurship, careers, and labor markets, with a focus on entrepreneurship in emerging economies and its consequences for mobility. I investigate these questions through field and natural experiments using novel survey and administrative data.
